Last week I shared insights into the challenges and opportunities facing fintech brands, investing platforms, and similar entities and their struggle STILL in 2024 to better target females to better their financial education and position.
I am an example of that audience.
You’ll remember I said that I was going to make it my mission as a MARKETER and a CONSUMER to see why and what is really missing and what is that SWEET SPOT marketers in these fintech brands CAN’T seem to get right to target us women.
So just like any female wanting to further their financial education and prospects I’m going to document my route to that journey and dissect it as a consumer and as a marketer to see what I come across, what can be done better along my journey to then later see how I can help females just like me better educate themselves to financial freedom…
These are my real emotions, feelings, and thoughts as I go through this journey that I plan to document. If this is how I am feeling Millions of women will also be feeling the same.
🔥 STEP ONE – GET OVER THIS FEAR – I CAN DO THIS 🔥
🔥 – GET OUT THE COMFORT ZONE – I always learnt better when some one taught me something, especially in a field I am completely alien to, that feeling of having that support system is comfort that you are not going to do anything wrong especially with money, every one is terrified of losing it quickly. Also learning from someone that has a track record of success also is comforting.
🔥 – YOU HAVE TO DO IT YOURSELF FIRST – I always thought that surrounding myself with people in fintech and payments space I would have the opportunity to learn from them, working close with them that they would give me the time to teach me. Actually what I really learnt is nobody has time for you. You got to make it happen yourself, unless they really want you to succeed they’ll make time for you – those people are hard to find!
🔥 – ANYTHING TO DO WITH MONEY IS SCARY – It is no one wants to lose thousands of pounds doing something they are not knowledgeable on.
🔥 – TAKE BABY STEPS – What’s ok is taking baby steps. The first step i’ve have made is committing to myself that I am going to go on this journey NOT just for me but for thousands of women who are feeling just like me.
Every step is one step more forward than the day before.
Step 2 – Baby steps to education starts with this book….
PS not a fan of that word feminist 😛
